Fulfillment of Messianic Prophecy by Jesus #65

last month

Gen 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

”Enoch walked with God”. What an amazing testimony. Imagine one day Enoch was walking with God and got a long way from his earthy home. It was getting late and God said, “You know we are closer to my place that we are you yours”. God took Enoch. Just a thought!

There are two others that were taken this extraordinary way. The other was Elijah in the Old Testament, both pointing towards Jesus or both types of the coming Christ.

Heb 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

Jesus after rising from the grave also had this testimony that He pleased God

#. Jesus

Act 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
Act 1:10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
Act 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Very much so pointing to Jesus. I have often wondered why the powers that be never included the book of Enoch in the Bible we have today??? It is an interesting read as is Jasher. Thanks @daddywilliam

I have still yet to glean all from the 66 books of the Bible. I have not been led by the Holy Spirit to read some of the others. Thank you for your faithfulness brother! God bless!
