Hermes Trismegisto, is one of those curious characters, like Apolonio de Tiana, whose life, mysterious as few, has always navigated between that dark horizon that separates reality from legend.
He is credited with the invention of an object no less interesting and mysterious, the Emerald Table or Smeragdina Table, which like the Holy Grail, no one knows exactly what it is, but to which all ascribe a powerful knowledge.
According to Hermetists or followers of the doctrines of Hermes - hence the term 'hermetic' - within the axioms promulgated by Hermes Trismegistus, there is one who says that what is above is equal to what is below.
